Day 7: Flight Eros to Sesriem. 2 nights at Le Mirage Desert Lodge (Sossusvlei).
Day 8: Early morning dune hike.
Day 9: Flight to Swakopmund via Solitaire. 2 nights at Strand Hotel on the Atlantic promenade.
Day 10: Free day — Swakopmund coast & activities. (all activities available for download)
Day 11: Flight to Mokuti. 2- 3 nights: Arrive in the most astonishing lodge: sport swimming pool, fitness, welness and more.

With an aeronautical engineering background and a pilot licence, I’ve always dreamed of sharing the thrill and beauty of bush flying. Which license do I need?
Any valid ICAO license — EASA PPL, FAA PPL, CPL or ATPL. The validation includes full NCAA validation via Signa Aviation at Eros. The package without validation offers everyone a fly-for-fun experience without hurdles.
How long does NCAA validation take?
Typically 2–3 days including theory exam and checkride. ( We include rest days to make it less stressfull.) We handle all paperwork, scheduling and fees.
Note: the NCAA needs unfortunately 1-3 weeks to issue the license after the exam. The flight school has no leverage here to accelerate this. The benefit of receiving the validation is that you can take your family on-board with the Cessna C210.
Can I customize my trip?
For the first training itinerary, unfortunately there are less options: The route is limited to NCAA approved training airstrips. You can customize the duration of the stay at one destination. After having completed the validation, we have the full flexibility of flying elsewhere.
Can my family join?
In case you passed the validation and the validation is received from the NCAA, yes. Option 1: You book your family on a second aircraft on the same routing – same schedule. We negotiated a very fair deal here. Option 2: You perform your validation and add an extra week at the finest lodges and your family arrives at week 3. Meanwhile the NCAA validation paper is on the table.
What is the benefit of the validation?
After having completed the validation and having received your NCAA paper, we have more flexibility of flying to certain non-NCAA approved airstrips.
The validation offers you the possibility to take your family along on-board the Cessna C210 while being accompanied by a flight instructor throughout – for insurance reasons. Also, having performed the itinerary once, the flight school might release you for a solo cross-country the next time – insurance to be clarified.

With Validation
Pilots who wish to receive official Namibian license (NCAA) validation for full flying freedom and come back another time to take their family on-board.
Starts 3 months prior to departure with document submission and an Air Law study package
Exams: The Theory Exam (Day 2) and Practical Check Flight (Day 4) are included. In cas of failure, you can still proceed with the cross-country
The Cross-Country Tour begins on Day 6 or 7 (tailored to your pace) after administrative procedures are completed
Family members can be taken on-board only after NCAA validation is received.
Note: The Namibian Civil Aviation Authority takes 1-3 weeks to issue the validation. We recommend either a longer stay or to come back another time if you rely on the validation.
Once you come back the next time, you can proudly take your family on-board. If the flight school is happy with your performance, you might be relaesed for solo flying.
Validated pilots enjoy more freedom landing on almost any dirtstrip and don’t have to stick to NCAA approved airstrips as during training.
While validation isn’t in place, family members can be taken on a “FlyNamibia” Cessna Caravan flying the same route (01.05.-31.11.).
